God uses people who are broken-hearted. Josh pleads with us to let God break our hearts all the things that break God's heart. If we would be driven to sorrow which produces repentance, than God would do a great work through and among His people. So, we confess our sin, and we confess the sins of our people, not so that we would get to see God work, but so that we might see God.
